Weekly Links: 8/19-8/25
Each week, I like to chronicle some of the great content around the net and post it up here for my readers and for posterity’s sake.
- DashboardThemes.com up for sale — I’ve always loved this site. There’s a great userbase, and I really think Matt is selling himself short at $2,500. Huge potential for this site: I hope it goes to a great new owner.
- The Dark Art of Wiki-Jacking — crazy evil scheme to push your competitors out of #1. I would heed his advice though, I’m competing with Wikipedia on a couple of terms right now, and it’s damn near impossible to get past them.
- APPMRKT launches — A marketplace for buying and selling Facebook applications. We’ll see how this turns out. I personally think Facebook applications are just not worth the effort for the ROI — but I think it’ll be a huge source of money making for select few people out there.
- Studiorockstar review — Tyler posted up the review I requested for the site. There’s a few good things in there (and a lot I’ve changed already). Always great to hear people’s opinions!
- How I made my presentations a little better — Good summary of some basics of presenting.
